Established in 1995 in the Bayside village of Sandringham, Without Pier Gallery moved to new premises 3 kilometres east in Cheltenham in 2006. The gallery has developed an enviable reputation as a specialist in contemporary Australian art. The Gallery offers an eclectic range of art and artefacts from renowned and rising Australian and Aboriginal artists.

Collectors can  browse through a wide range of framed and unframed Limited Edition prints and etchings, by local and national artists.

Without Pier offers a wide selection of pieces to suit all personal tastes, decor and price range.

Without Pier is committed to the highest artistic standards and professionalism, and actively encourages the development of new and emerging Australian artists.

All staff can provide information about pieces exhibited and their artists and printed biographical information on artists is available. The Gallery hosts informal seminars about collecting Australian art.

The Gallery is committed to quality service. For collectors unable to visit the Gallery, private viewing can be arranged.

We pride ourselves on delivering individual attention to our clients and keeping local, national and international clients abreast of Australian art and Gallery news through our quarterly newsletter.

Without Pier commissions works on behalf of corporate clients and private collectors and can arrange for smaller pieces to be specifically designed and produced. Organising freight and insurance for our clients, we ensure safe delivery of works to anywhere in Australia or overseas.

We accept major credit cards and cheques are welcome. Without Pier also provides layby facilities and gift vouchers are available for purchase.

Corporate Services & Functions

The Gallery's special ambience makes it a distinctive venue for corporate and private events. The Gallery has been host to corporate functions, social club meetings, charity and fundraising events. Gallery staff can advise on event planning if required.

The majority of Without Pier's private clients are Bayside residents, Melbournians or travellers from country Victoria and interstate. The Gallery is also attracting an increasing number of business clients seeking works for office interiors, individually designed awards or special corporate gifts.

The Gallery will specifically commission works, advising clients on the artwork required or working in conjunction with the clients' commercial architects and interior designers. Artists are sourced to match out clients' corporate style and identity.

Gifts and awards can be individually packaged and delivered to any destination in Australia.
